Today while at the Store

So tonight, we went to Sprouts. We usually go there once a week or once every two weeks depending on their specials. So, we had shopped and got all our fruits and vegetables. Dean had the cart and I had Havanna in the stroller. We are in line waiting to check out and there were 2 people in front of us. I don't know if you have ever been to Sprouts, but they tend to have large displays by their checkout lanes. Anyways, I thought I had my eye on Havanna but apparently did not. Next thing I know, I hear the sound of glass breaking on the floor. She had knocked over a jar of salsa off of the display! I could not believe it. I mean she's only 6 months old. She thought it was kind of funny. We had to tell the workers and they came and cleaned it up. We didn't have to pay for it or anything. I guess her arms are longer than I originally thought and I really need to watch her more closely at the store from now on. Oh well, lesson learned!

I Forgot

I also forgot a few other things. Dean's mom, Nilda, came for a visit just after Mother's Day. She had a good time with Havanna. I also started posting my sewing things online. I hope to write on this blog at least 3 times a week. Thanks for stopping by!

Havanna and Uncle David

So long!

I feel as though I haven't been on here forever. Life has gotten busy. We have been through a lot since MOther's Day. So, here's an update. Havanna is 6 months old now and is cutting 2 bottom teeth. She is sitting up on her own and loves to sing. She is also eating baby food, which she likes, most of hte time. Dean lost his job at the end of May and got a new one. He did not get to go on vacation with me and Havanna to my parent's house. I went on vacation for 2 weeks to my mom's house. My grandma flew out from California, as did my mom's cousin, Jan. We all had a grand old time. Havanna decided to poop through her clothes on the airplane going to Grammie's house. Not fun, let me tell ya. But we survived and other than that, she did incredibly well on the plane. Havanna also got to meet her Uncle David, who she loved. Since Dean lost his job, he is not making as much money and I am now looking for work. It is very stressful and frustrating to wait to hear if you got a job or not. I am trusting in God that He will provide for our needs.

First Mother's Day

Well, my first mother's day was great! My parents were in town to celebrate and Havanna was dedicated at our church too. Havanna wore the dress that I was dedicated in. It was so special! Dean got me flowers, chocolate and a Barnes and Noble gift card. We all had a really good visit. Havanna loves her Grammie and Papa Moody.

This is my very first blog. Hopefully, more to come. Also, my blog design may be changing as I figure exactly what I am doing. ;) All of this html code is confusing. Stay tuned for more stuff.
